It was 9 o’clock. There was one couple at a table in the dining area that I was in and three people at the bar. There couldn’t have been that many people in the back because there was 10 cars in the parking lot (Sigh), I stood at the entryway for at least five minutes before the person that was sitting right there looked up from her phone and seated me. I asked for white rice. I got brown rice. She never asked me if I wanted to refill on my tea because I think it was that tea in the can (Arizona) that you get at the gas station. Anyway, I wasn’t really happy with the service. I don’t know why about I got such poor service. It was just little old me, anyway I won’t go back and next time I’ll make sure that I use Yelp and see what everybody else is enjoying

We were really disappointed after going here for my son's birthday. I read the reviews and thought after hearing how great they seem, and how they bring out dessert and make your day special that this would be a good spot to celebrate his 18th. We were wrong...they barely acknowledged it and we definitely didn't get any dessert or fun hats like others claimed. Also for the price, the food taste and portions were just ok compared to other hibachi places. Our cook wasn't very interactive, and it also felt like they were rushing us. We definitely won't be back.

I do not usually leave bad reviews. I understand places have bad days or unfortunate events occur. This time, though, I will make an exception. In short, our experience at Kyoto was an absolute disaster. My family wanted to try Kyoto. We were finally all in town and available on a Friday night. Our reservation was for 7:30. We arrived a few minutes early and were given a pager. There were maybe seven other people waiting. Other people arrived every few minutes. At 7:50 we asked about the wait and the manager told us they were “cleaning our table” and we would be seated soon. (We were supposed to be seated around a hibachi to watch our food being cooked and to interact with the chef.) At 8:10 we were still waiting. I went to the restroom and passed the area where we were expecting to be seated. The area was completely full of guests watching their food being prepared and eating their dinners. No one was “cleaning a table” because there was no empty table. I saw the manager who just shrugged and said “we are busy”. It was clear that there was no chance of us being seated for quite some time. So we left for a nearby Buddy’s Pizza which was both quick and delicious. Kyoto gave us a

My favorite hibachi place. The food is incredible and the chefs are always so much fun! They give fun hats and dessert for birthdays too! The drinks are always crazy strong so you are actually getting what you pay for unlike some places who add a dash of alcohol. The lunch specials are also a great deal
